I had the opportunity a year ago to go on a trip to Hakkaido, Niseko Japan.  I have never visited this part of Japan and was looking forward to it.  It was the longest solo travel trip that I have been on in awhile. Once there I met up with the K2 Snowboard crew from the USA and Japan along with Team Riders and Dealers.  I also got a chance to meet, ride, hangout with and share stories with Taro Tamai.  Taro and I have never met, we share similar interests in surfing, we are the same age, we both have a teenage son and we both are into riding mountains of snow on boards we have created.  Die Go from Digging Magazine arranged to do an interview with Taro and I after a day of riding some incredible powder.  The translated version below is for all to read.  There are a few things that are not correct due to the translation,  yet close, so please consider.  Enjoy our words.
